In this project, we have what we consider, the world’s most expensive line marking tape.
BUT IS IT ANY GOOD? That’s the real question!
This tape measures 1.3mm in thickness manufactured by a company called my Mighty Line. The tape features a bevelled edge which is fantastic if you’re looking for durability in a fast-paced warehouse environment as it allows forklifts pallet trucks and LLOPS to safely traverse the tape without causing damage.
The tape can be installed really quickly and we found the string lining first allowed us to get a really nice straight finish. The ground only needs to be clean and dry before you apply the tape and we didn’t use any special cleaning fluids or apparatus to do this.
We started out with a quick sweep of the ground followed by string lining the area.
Finally, we install the tape along the pre-marked line. This type is fantastic if you’re looking for something that would last for a few years of consistent daily use and don’t want to consider shot blasting as a preparation method for traditional line marking.
