Line Marking Training
Train your in-house team to install professional line markings from day one.
Our courses are predominantly hands-on, delivered on your site, and built around real tasks — so your team leaves confident to mark out, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings safely and neatly without relying on external contractors.
We offer a single-day programme for acrylic, thermoplastic or MMA line marking outdoors, and a multi-day (2–3 days) programme for indoor line marking that covers surface preparation (shot blasting & floor grinding), masked edges, application technique, and aftercare. Ongoing technical support is available as an add-on.
Who We Train
We’ve trained teams from local councils, small businesses, and those looking to self deliver line marking—adapting content to your environment (car parks, warehouses, yards, factories, depots). Cohorts typically 2–6 learners for maximum hands-on time.
Course Formats
1-Day: Acrylic, Thermoplastic or MMA (External)
Ideal for car parks, yards and outdoor walkways. Learn safe set-out, masking, laser-guided straight lines, spray techniques, hatching, symbols, and fast return-to-service methods.
- Car parks and walkways
- Thermoplastic, Spray & MMA line marking
- Troubleshooting / best practice

- Safety, traffic management & QA checks
2–3 Days: Indoor Line Marking
For warehouses and factories. Includes surface preparation (shot blasting & floor grinding), degreasing, primers, epoxy/PU application, razor-sharp taping, durability tactics, and staging works in live sites.

- Shot blasting & grinding fundamentals
- Primers, film builds & curing windows
- Walkways, forklift aisles, keep-clear zones

How We Teach (Hands-On First)
This is not classroom-heavy. We bring a structured, practical curriculum and coach on your real layouts. Learners also get access to our online training library — the same content our own engineers use — for pre-reads and refreshers.
At the end, attendees receive a Certificate of Attendance you can log toward CPD records.
Typical Day Outline
Morning
Safety briefing, PPE, method statement overview. Site walk. Set-out basics, bay sizing, datum lines. Masking techniques for crisp edges. Equipment set-up and checks.
Midday
Hands-on spraying or application: straight lines with laser guidance, hatching, symbols. Wet-edge management and clean tools. Quality control while working live.
Afternoon
Defects & fixes (bleed, overspray, orange peel). Curing/hand-back decisions. Aftercare & maintenance planning. Assessment & sign-off.

FAQs
How quickly can we start marking after training?
For 1-day acrylic/MMA courses, your team should be ready to mark external areas immediately. For indoor lines, most clients schedule their first project within days, using our support line if needed.
Do you provide certification?
Yes — all attendees receive a Certificate of Attendance you can record toward CPD. We can also provide a skills checklist signed by the instructor.
Can you help us choose products and equipment?
Absolutely. We’ll match materials to your surfaces and budget, and we can supply an equipment list or bundle to get you started.
Is the course classroom-based?
Minimal. We focus on doing — set-out, masking, spraying/applying and finishing. The online library covers theory you can revisit anytime.
